10 Interiors influencers you need to know
Jess’ Blogger Bible is something she has coveted for years and is one of the things clients request the most to get a peek at. We’ve always erred on the side of being cautious about sharing our lists but in reality, anyone who wants to know who we think are worth following could just have a browse through who we follow on Insta. With that in mind, in a new series, we’ve decided to share our top 10 lists with you in the coming weeks, kicking off with our personal favourite category, interiors influencers!
Mad About The House
Kate is the grand dame of interiors influencers. We’ve known her for years now, long before she began Mad About The House, and can whole heartedly say that no woman deserves success as much as she does. Not only has she got an impeccable eye and shares interiors tips, stuff and bits and bobs that are incredibly useful. She’s recently started a podcast, The Great Indoors, with the infallible Sophie Robinson that’s a well worthy listen too!
French For Pineapple
If you want to know what the next big (real) home trends will be yonks before they hit the headlines, Bianca is a must-follow. Her DIY projects never fail to inspire us and her passion for interiors seeps through every single word she writes. She occasionally hosts sales at her home in North London selling off samples and spare interior bits and bobs that she’s accumulated so it’s well worth keeping a watchful eye on her news.
Lisa Dawson
We think it’s probably impossible that there’s a person in Britain who owns more prints and pieces of art than Lisa. She is the queen of gallery walls and boy are her walls beautiful! Her how to guides are really useful and the way she writes is filled with character. Be sure to follow her on Instagram – her stories are ace and she often does live Q&As to help answer all your interior dilemmas or burning questions.
Cate St Hill
We avidly follow Cate’s posts because she has this remarkable knack of making high street interiors look incredibly expensive! Her IKEA kitchen is the perfect example. If you love a pared back, Scandi vibe, you cannot miss Cate’s work.
Gold Is A Neutral
Every time we sneak a peek at Jess’ feed, we become desperate to paint our walls dark. And don’t get us started on her bathroom. It is the most exquisite room that makes us hugely envious! Her recent hallway renovation (adorned with one of our lovely client, skinflint’s, lights) was a triumph and we can’t wait to see what she does with her home next.
Kerry Lockwood
The best way to describe Kerry’s posts is that they’re akin to a hot chocolate. There’s something abundantly warming and cosy about her style that we just can’t get enough of. It’s eclectic in all the right ways and packed full of an amazing mix of new and old.
2LG Studio
We’ve recently worked with Russell and Jordan (and their dog Buckley too, obvs) on renovating their kitchen with our client John Lewis of Hungerford and they are two of the nicest boys in the biz. We might be biased but we think their kitchen is even better than their incredible bathroom (which is a global sensation and we can confirm that it looks as good in the flesh as it does in pics). Their client projects are always super inspiring and we love how they show the background behind their design inspirations. You can really see how their creative minds work and it’s a beautiful thing!
Sophie Robinson
If you love colour, pattern and going bold, you’ll LOVE Sophie’s work. You might recognise her off the telly – she has a co-presenting role on the BBC’s Great Interior Design Challenge and can also be spotted on DIY SOS. She’s also the podcasting partner in crime to Kate (Mad About The House).
Melanie Lissack
Melanie gives incredible tips on DIYs. Similar to Bianca and Cate, she offers insight into how to make things look more luxe than their price tag. We’re a bit in love with her use of colour, particularly in her living room! Her Instagram stories are packed with interiors insight you won’t want to miss.
Dee Campling
Frequently a partner in crime to Lisa Dawson (they run a very cool design podcast together that is well worth a listen), Dee’s house is effortlessly cool whilst being abundantly cosy at the same time. She is the co-founder of the hashtag #myhomevibe which has over half a million photos packed full of interiors inspiration.
