Hind Gardens by Golden Earth Developments

The Brief: We were briefed to develop a brand messaging framework and visual identity as the first phase of the Hind Gardens project by boutique property developer, Golden Earth Developments. Hind Gardens is a 38-home development being built out on the edge of the Devil’s Punchbowl in Surrey. A stone’s throw from the market town Haslemere, a short distance to Guildford town centre, and just a 1-hour commute to London. This exclusive development will be ready in Spring 2025.

THE STRATEGY

Having grown up in Surrey, the area is very familiar to me and the location of Hind Gardens is something really spectacular. Gabriel and his team’s vision for the development is extremely respectful of the natural beauty in and around the Devil’s Punchbowl and there was an instant connection to the project for me and my team.

Our work on Hind Gardens is a testament to what we do best - working with a founding team from the ground up (literally in this case) to build a brand around something special.

THE DESIGN

There were three important touchpoints to this brand that we had to make sure we hit in the visual identity. It needed to exude sophistication, and quality to align with USPs of the construction, it needed to be simple and versatile to be used across giant hoarding boards, and little business cards, with the same light touch. Moreover, it demanded reflection of the locale and its surroundings, integrating the naturalistic elements of the landscape that inspired the project.

Our final execution manifests in a rich racing green and gold palette, with a mark that is a play the letter ‘H’, a the graceful silhouette of a hind, a female deer, and a bold modern typeface that has an opulent, elegant feel. For texture we’ve added some subtle, line drawn foliage that frames the have a brandkey pieces of content.

Hind Gardens have a brand that will call to to their target audience, establish their offering as high quality and premium and it offers the adaptability necessary to cover all marketing and sales collateral until Spring 2025.

THE WORDS

The Devil’s Punch Bowl is a real place of adventure, both in terms of the historic tales and legends of the area, and all the different walks, hikes and rides you can do there today.

That sense of adventure became the ‘red thread’ of Hind Gardens’ story and proposition, and led to the line: Hind Gardens is home to new adventures.

This ties into what people might say to friends or family when they move to a new house: “this is a new adventure for us.” While also alluding to the 1,600 acres of the great outdoors that would lie on your doorstep.

With that as the starting point of the narrative, we then looked at another of the development’s USPs which is the developer’s approach to design: practical, thoughtful, and beautiful.

These three strands formed the three reasons why someone should buy a property here. Practical design creates the comforts to live at ease, thoughtful designs creates space to grow, and beautiful design creates connection to all of a home owner’s worlds (work, family, friends).

SOCIAL CONTENT

With the houses almost built, we are supporting on driving sales of the properties by creating content for and managing the strategy of the social media account for Hind Gardens. We are on site once a month shooting content for a day that we then edit into 12 different posts (a mix of video and stills) to be scheduled to Instagram.
