Do It Right: Social Media Marketing Workshop - London

Over the course of the past year, our first “proper” year of business, we’ve built a network of incredible “Doers”, made of talented freelancers from across the marketing mix. We are constantly in awe of the things they are achieving, what we learn from them and their dedication to the clients they work on and it naturally led to our focus for 2020 to be COLLABORATION.

We’re kicking off that focus by partnering with Ellie Austin Williams, a social media guru who we got to know well in 2019. You can read more about Ellie and her experience here. We’ll be running a whole host of social media marketing masterclasses with Ellie this year.

We are tired of meeting with clients who are feeling the pressures of beating algorithms, getting the numbers up (without defining what the numbers actually are) and generally not understanding the scope of each channel and how it can support a business. Together with Ellie, we’ve joined forces to create a jam packed masterclass to break all the myths down, provide all the tools needed to make social work harder for you and demonstrate what success looks like.

What the Do It Right: Social Media Marketing workshop covers:

- A breakdown of each social media channel, what it does, the audience it targets and how it can support your business

- Insight into what updates each channel will be integrating in the next year and how you can better plan your content ahead of time to support that

- A guide into identifying the right channels to focus on for your business - this includes a super useful audience assessment exercise

- An overview to setting social media goals - how to measure success, what success should look like and what to do if something isn’t quite working for you

- What good content looks like for your business, how to create it, essential tools to help you and why it’s important

- A breakdown of the relationship between SEO and social media. How to identify the essential keywords for your business, how to use them on social and how to use them to build focused content

- Lots of time for specific questions and troubleshooting bespoke issues

FAQ

How much does it cost?

£450 +VAT. We’re offering an early-bird offer if booked before 30th January of £395 +VAT

Is it right for me?

We’ve designed the workshop specifically for business owners who can’t take on social media support just yet, in-house marketing teams who need to better understand social media to plan a more effective marketing strategy and start up entrepreneurs who want to find out how social media can help support them as they get off the ground. We break everything down in language that anyone can understand - no jargon here! Whilst we’ve made it work for an absolute beginner, you’ll get more out of it if you have a basic level of understanding of each channel.

What will I get out of it?

Prepare to have your eyes opened to a different way of viewing social media! You’ll get a thorough understanding of every channel, what it will do for your business, how they work and how to prepare the content for specific channels to create engagement and add value to your audience. There will be a host of practical exercises for you to do - we won’t just be talking at you - so you have the chance to nitpick specific areas of your business with us. All the details we walk through will be recapped in a workbook, which you’ll take home with you. There will be plenty of time for Q&A so no stone will be left unturned.

How many people will be there?

We keep the groups small - no more than 15. This allows us to have plenty of 1:1 time with each of you and feels a lot more personal.

Where is it?

We host the masterclass at Georgian House Hotel near Victoria station in London so it’s nice and accessible for people to get in from just about anywhere!

How long will it take?

The workshop is from 10am - 4pm (so you can get home and beat rush hour). There’ll be a short break for lunch - a chance for you to stretch your legs but it will be an intense day, packed with information!

Is food/drink provided?

We’ve got snacks, tea and coffee all day but lunch is for you to provide. There is abundance of places around Victoria within a short walking distance from the hotel. There will be a practical challenge for you to do whilst out and about at lunch - you’ve been warned!

If I’m unable to attend, can I get a refund?

We totally understand that things can crop up which mean that it’s impossible for you to make the day. We offer a full refund up to 14 days before the event less a £10 admin fee. Within 14 days of the event, we can only offer a refund if your spot is filled by someone else.

Who are you guys?

Between us we’ve got around 35 years experience working with brands - everything from big global retailers to small start ups. Some of the brands we’ve worked on include: west elm, Loaf, Pimms, Gordon’s Gin, Little Chef, Dulux, Cuprinol, Garnier Ambre Solaire, Rangemaster, Sub Zero and Wolf…we can go on!
